M&M Times Square Pop-Up Shop
Recreating an Iconic Store in 4 Weeks
Mars USA

The Challenge
Mars USA needed to bring the magic of their Times Square flagship store to a trade show pop-up shop—with just 4 weeks to design and install a 15x9 foot experience. The tight timeline meant corrugated materials were our only option since we could produce them in-house.
The Solution
I led the creative development, turning budget constraints into design opportunities through smart material use and authentic NYC storytelling. Key Design Elements: Times Square Atmosphere with street signage and NYC photography created immediate geographic connection, Immersive Graphics featuring life-size street scenes with yellow cabs and bustling crowds, Brand Integration with Green M&M Statue of Liberty character as photo focal point, and Smart Construction using corrugated walls and displays that looked premium despite temporary materials.

Impact
This project showed how creative constraints can drive innovation. By embracing corrugated materials as a design feature rather than a limitation, we delivered an authentic M&M brand experience that exceeded expectations while proving you can create premium experiences on tight budgets.
