Grind With Gratitude Floor Stand
Rescuing a Failed Project Through Strategic Brand Understanding
Grind With Gratitude THC Beverages

The Challenge
When initial POS concepts for this fast-growing THC beverage brand completely missed the mark, the client nearly lost confidence in our agency. The failed designs felt generic and dark, missing the brand's unique "grind and gratitude" positioning and bold, entrepreneurial spirit. Additional Challenges: Regulatory restrictions prevented fruit imagery on packaging, need to appeal to female target audience despite black product cans, required flexibility for 10-state expansion with varying regulations, and display needed to work for 250-1000 units across multiple retailers.
The Solution
I stepped in to rescue the project, developing a completely new creative direction that transformed a basic 4-shelf display into a dynamic brand experience that communicated freshness, energy, and appetite appeal. Key Design Innovation: Strategic Fruit Integration since fruit couldn't appear on packaging, I made it the hero of the POS graphics, 3D Side Wing Elements with removable panel featuring vibrant fruit splash graphics, Female-Targeted Appeal through bright, fresh imagery to counter masculine black packaging, and Modular Flexibility adaptable design for different retail environments and regulations.
My Role

- Graphics ideation and creation
- Client meetings to understand their real needs and gather feedback
- Handed off approved designs to production graphics team for print-ready execution

Impact
This project showed the power of really understanding a brand versus just designing something that looks good. By solving multiple challenges at once—regulatory restrictions, target audience appeal, and brand positioning—the final solution became a competitive advantage rather than just a display fixture. The modular design approach created a flexible platform that could adapt to different state regulations while maintaining consistent brand impact across their rapid national expansion.
